I had a date once who was very romantic. It was a Friday afternoon when he asked if I might want to have dinner with him. This is of course, not M who NEVER MET ME FOR DINNER ON WEEKDAYS!
Anyway, I agreed and he picked me up at my office at about 6pm. He had bought me a little snack “in case you get peckish” and for the next one hour, we were happily driving up to Genting Highlands for dinner!!
He told me that he had tried to arrange to have dinner at The Peak restaurant in Genting Highlands, because the mushroom soup there is out of this world. That was until he discovered that it has been closed and replaced with The Olive at the Genting Highlands Hotel. So, he instead arranged for a simple dinner at Awana Resort, which I truly appreciated because I love the cold weather.
Did I mention that it was Valentine’s Day?
Well it was, and that remains one of the most romantic Valentine’s Day dinners I’ve ever had.
