Earlier on the evening news on NTV7, I saw a news report about the police in Miami busting a house that was being used as a marijuana farm. They showed footage of the interior of the house and I was so shocked to see the living room and all the rooms of the house filled with pots of marijuana! It was quite surreal. Apparently, the owners of the house (who were still living there!) were an old couple. I don’t think the police would buy their story that they are a couple of aging hippies growing marijuana for their own consumption. Likely, they’ll be sent off to jail and put in a drug rehab programme. They might have just been caretakers only though. There’s no discounting that fact. Still, how weird is that?!
