Employees – you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them.
I have an employee who literally irritates the hell out of me. He’s retiscent, he doesn’t talk civilly, he borders on being rude and he never reports a problem nor follows instructions unless you force him to. The problem is that he is a decent worker so you can’t fault him in the work department.
Outside of work, he is hell.
The latest problem relates to his computer. It had been giving problems. Random restarts and blanking out at odd times. So, I gave the green light for it to be sent for repair. It was not done.
6 months down the road now, I’m being told by ANOTHER staff that the computer is acting up again. Not by the staff whose computer it is mind you, but by another one. This time I blew my top.
WTF is the problem with this guy?! He never sent the computer for repair and now that its acting up again he did not even tell me he got someone else to do it.
It makes me sick! ARGH!! I’m so mad.
