Other than the fact I need to go on a bit of a diet, I’m glad that my acne seems to be clearing up. I have a really bad case of acne and every month I battle it. In recent months however, things seem to be progressing smoothly in every sense of the word. My dating life is still (in a word) crap but at least my face is clearing up and taking on a lovely healthy glow. I have no idea what I have done but maybe lots of sleep is helping and boy! Have I been sleeping! With the public holidays coming up in the next day or two, I’ll be sleeping even more! Whee!

With my brother’s wedding coming up and the intended SIL forcing me to wear a mermaid dress as bridesmaid (who died and made her king?! or queen?! ) I realised I have to lose a little bit of weight around the tummy to ensure I fit in nicely without unsightly bumps around. A friend sent me a link to orovo after I lamented about my situation. You know, given the circumstances, I wonder if it isn’t worth a shot!

I was talking to a lady today about her house renovation and she kept saying to me “carports… carports…” and I had no idea what she was talking about. Granted, English isn’t her first language nor second, but please, its a car PORCH she was talking about! Sigh, I really should be more patient but I did not know if I should laugh or cry at that point.

After all the brou-haha over the taking over the government, the opposition is now cutting back on their deadlines. This is such an anti-climax!!

After 3 false starts, the takeover is now a non-starter. I hope this doesn’t stop the Government from continuing the offer for the fuel rebates though. What with oil prices coming down, they might just do a change of mind and cut the rebate. I haven’t renewed my road tax and car insurance yet. Its only due in December. ARGH!!!!
