I’d never thought of Yoga as a religion before but apparently, the The National Fatwa Council thinks so. They are coming out with a fatwa on yoga soon:-

On Tuesday, lecturer Prof Zakaria Stapa of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Islamic Studies Centre advised Muslims who have taken up yoga to stop practising it for fear that it could deviate their belief. – Bernama (source)

I was quite shocked to receive an email from a friend whose wedding is in 2 months, just after bro’s. He wrote a short note to say that the wedding is off!! I was shocked. So I called him and he did not want to say much but from what I understood, the girl had called off the wedding saying she needed time to think about it.

This couple had been dating for about 4 years – he was my good friend in collage until we lost touch and then we got back in touch recently. I won’t profess to understand her concerns. As far as I know the guy’s a decent person.

And that my friends, is how life goes! I hope SIL doesn’t do a runaway bride on bro! I’ll wring her neck

I love ice cream and everyone who knows me knows it. So, when I was browsing PPS just now and I saw this – Cream and Fudge Factory I knew I’d have to try it! Just nice for me to see this because I’m heading off to Bangkok in a week. Ice cream here I come!!

Too bad we don’t get the franchises here. It looks so good I’d probably be eating there everyday (and getting fat and broke) haha…

Oh look! I was flipping through the newspapers yesterday when I saw a sale on at Lorenzo. Lorenzo is forever going on sales now and then for household furniture and I knew SIL to be saw it too because bro was complaining this morning about having to brave the crowds at the sale. Apparently, the tv furniture are going quite cheap – less than RM1000 and SIL to be has set her heart on one of the designs. Heh… good luck bro! Maybe I’ll get out of flower shopping after all!
