There I was, happily gorging on Christmas Turkey and the trimmings when my phone rang on Christmas day. As I’m in Singapore and on roaming, no number showed up on caller ID. I thought it might be a friend so I picked it up and OMG it wasn’t! It was someone trying to sell me auto insurance!
Erm… I was stunned for a moment. Don’t these tele-marketeers take a break? Is no holiday sacred anymore?! It was Christmas DAY!!! I tried to be polite but heck! I was on roaming and the call was costing me money so I said, thank you but no thank you and hung up.
