Hamster?! Why can’t we have a dog or cat like everyone else? Instead we have a little rodent that does nothing but eat sleep and run round and round on the treadmill. Bro got it for SIL – heaven knows why! Still, its relatively cheap to maintain I guess, not like keeping dogs and if I’d had my way, horses. But can you imagine paying for horse supplies? LOL… Yeah I didn’t think anyone would take kindly to it!

Upon closer inspection, she had pasted some acne treatment gel patches on her face and covered it up with a thick layer of foundation! And she was walking around in a MALL!!! I was so stunned I didn’t know whether to laugh or tell her these treatment patches aren’t supposed to be worn OUTSIDE of the house!

OMG… and covered with foundation!!! OMG…

Apparently she had gone to some fitness equipment sale and picked it up for about RM7000 – she said it normally costs over RM10k. I can’t believe that I’m seeing this in my living hall. I detest treadmills – I think people on treadmills look like hamsters

I wonder how long this fad will last before we resort to using it as a clothes hanger?

X and Y are dating. Z is the third spoke in the wheel. Apparently, AB told me that Y discovered she was pregnant and now X and Z are taking paternity tests to see who is responsible for it!

OMG! Gossip or what?! The worst part? They are all of the religious persuasion. AB told me Y is suitably devastated yet she even told AB that she hoped it was Z because he earns more than X. OMG even more drastic!

Seriously, working in this office has been nothing but one thrill after another

She said he probably loves his dog above himself and you know what? I think she might be right. Sigh…That said, there was no chemistry anyway. We were like chalk and cheese – we could talk but only about the most mundane of topics.

You know when they say not to date people within the same industry so you don’t get bored? They were right.

Over here, we get similar looking traps but for cockroaches which are the banes of our lives. Well and rats too actually. I’ve seen some similar looking contraptions called Cockroach Hotels. Sounds like Hotel California huh? You can check in any time you like but you can never leave! bwahahahahha!

There were some hurried telephone calls made to future SIL to verify this and it turns out they were flip flopping between gold or maroon and never really decided. So I said, “How about a gold and maroon silk tie?” to which bro made a face. I further embellished it by saying I’d get one with a dragon and phoenix on it – LOL! That would be a sight.

We agreed on either a plain maroon or plain gold tie in the end for both Dad and Bro.

I’m not kidding! There she was, striking a “sexy pose” and holding a bunch of flowers which looked like they had seen better times. I reckon she would have done better to use silk flowers instead. There are lots of real looking flowers around these days, and they will hold up so much better in the heat and in photos. I had to stifle a giggle as her assistant had to use wire to ensure the flowers were upstanding and not drooping in her hands. Lots of photoshop needed that’s for sure!

I tried logging in a few days ago and found that I was unable to access the internet. At the time, i was busy so I didn’t work on it thinking it’ll get itself sorted out. Oops! Mistake!

Few days later, I called up the provider and walked through the problem with them. There was no issue with my account and then they told me I was suspended because I did not pay my bill for 3 months! Eeks! I’ve never done this before! I swear it just totally eluded me these last 2 months. Sigh…

So, I had to run around yesterday to get it sorted and pick up some medication for my brother’s acne treatment and then do more settling of bills and miscellaneous charges. All aside having to do work! Now, I’m back online. Whew! HArrowing experience that was.

I’d better stay on top of my bills or risk getting electricity cut off next! :O
