I just have 3 days to hit my personal target of US$200 a month on Adsense income. I’ve been consistently hitting it for the past 2 months.

Times like these, you may have to consider looking at your credit history and if you have to, fix bad credit. Its easier said than done though. Its not as easy as paying off all your loans and then sitting back to let your credit recover itself. You have to get out there and make sure that it your bad credit is fixed and that it recovers and that your credit turns up trumps again should you need to rely on it.

If you don’t have the means to do it yourself or don’t know how to go about fixing bad credit, its time to turn to people who can help. So, what do you want to do? Moan about not getting a loan or doing something about it?

I just cashed out my Adsense today

Unfortunately the exchange rate is now so low

In the 3 months that I’ve been cashing out Adsense, I’ve had the rate drop from RM3.6 to RM3.1 today to US$1. This is terrible because it means my earnings don’t net me as much as I should get!

I know wishing for a strong USD at this point is asking to kill the world economy, but at least I’d have some satisfaction of earning more from Adsense! *evil*

Oh well, at least I’m still cashing out money. $200 next month! Woohoo!

Oh my goodness!

I’m so very happy I can’t help myself.

I was just complaining a few days ago about not earning very much with Adsense now that I have changed one of my templates. I also wrote once about how I felt that my adsense earnings were actually getting a trifle embarrassing.

Well, when the year started, I set myself a target of $100 a month. This would ensure that I will be able to cash out my adsense money every month and ensure a steady income too. I’m not earning very much through other forms of online income anymore. The days of hitting a monthly income of $1000 are past. But I can still make a little and adsense i s one of the ways.

Anyway, last month, I hit $198. I was impressed! It helped that one of my sites is popular.  No, I’m not telling you which! But it is, and its getting a good share of clicks on the adsense ads. I have also another niche site which has very high paying keywords and though the traffic there is low, then I get clicks there, its very good money.

So, I set myself a new target of $200. Ambitious. But when I hit $100 within the first 2 weeks of April, I knew something big was in order. True enough, I checked my adsense account this morning and found that I’d hit my targetted $200!!

Is it the secret in action? I’ve been thinking very positively about earning that much and I did. Maybe the laws of attraction really do work

I can’t wait till May when I get to cash out my April earnings. Ah sweet smell of moolah!

Why I say I’m embarrassed is because now that Adsense allows payment by Western Union I can get my money almost immediately at a bank counter. The bank with Western Union is just downstairs of my office building, so it only makes sense that I go there at lunch to pick up my cash.

Now that the bank tellers know me, they have been asking me why I’m receiving money from Google. “Did you win a contest from Google?” “Are they refunding you money?”

And I have no idea how to answer them! Tips?

This means that we Adsense publishers can now receive our money practically instantly. Previously when we received a cheque, it would take up to 60 days for it to clear and there were fees charged by the bank as the cheques were in USD. Now, you get exactly the amount you have earned in Adsense income. Good? Yes!

Here is how to withdraw Adsense income through Western Union:

Go to your Adsense account -> My Account -> Payment History.

Scroll down to Payment Issued – Details and click on the link that says “Details”

You will see this table with the relevant information. PRINT OUT THIS PAGE.

Go to your nearest Western Union agent and bring:

1. Your IC

2. The Print out of the Google info

In Malaysia, you can go to CIMB Bank or RHB Bank or the Post Office to receive your money. I’ve only done it at RHB Bank so this is my experience.

When you go to the counter, tell them you want to RECEIVE WESTERN UNION money. They will then give you a form to fill in. This is where you need your print out. Copy the MTCN number and the Sender’s Information in the relevant boxes. Hand the form back to the cashier with your IC.

Wait and receive your cash. You will receive a print out showing you the amount you have received in USD and the equivalent in RM together with the exchange rate.

And that’s it! Walk away with your hardearned cash in hand and a big smile on your face; and hope to pop by the bank for the same transaction again next month!

I hit my target on my other blogs for adsense. My target in 2008 was to have a payout every month which means that I must hit $100 every month in order to cash out the money.

Today is February 21 and I have already hit $100!! I missed my target in December by a couple of dollars so it rolled over into January. I hit my target in January so I’m expecting a new fat payout at the end of February.

In March, I’ll have the February pay out too! Now, I gotta work harder to make sure I meet my goals in March too. And if it is regular, then I’ll aim higher – to get higher sums.
