Ahhhh I just got an email from cuz of her recent orlando vacations. Damn I am so jeles

I wanna go somewhere! Now that our flight is cancelled and office holiday looks non existent, I wanna go somewhere! Cuz did buy me lots of stuff. Shes coming over end of the year lucky bugger! Where does she find time to work in between all her travelling?

Bro has gone to China and SIL went with him (of course) and mom and dad have gone to Australia.

Rarely do we buy flight tickets then cancel them at will.

but this is what we did recently. The office was due to go on a holiday in late November to Lake Toba. I’d heard so much about the place it would have been fun to go. Especially with the crazy dudes in the office.

But we are now on a self imposed travel emergency break due to the earthquake in Sumatra. No prizes for guessing why since Medan is in Sumatra after all.

Someone purporting to be a friend bought me lunch today. Thinking we hadn’t caught up in a while, I agreed. BIG MISTAKE!

What they were trying to do was to buy cheap insurance from them. Hello! I don’t see you in over 2 years and you pop up like a bad penny.

Dad came back from servicing his car with lunch. One of the best chicken rice in town! He joked that that’s all he could get because he had to change some parts in his old Merc and it was like buying Ferrari parts My dad’s a real joker.

We’re going for dinner tonight with some relatives. Not so keen to see them as they aren’t quite the nicest people in the world, but Dad says they are family so we have to put on a brave face.
