but this is what we did recently. The office was due to go on a holiday in late November to Lake Toba. I’d heard so much about the place it would have been fun to go. Especially with the crazy dudes in the office.

But we are now on a self imposed travel emergency break due to the earthquake in Sumatra. No prizes for guessing why since Medan is in Sumatra after all.

I was thinking about this when I recently came across someone who allows her 3 year old daughter to wear makeup and this little kid now insists on wearing makeup before she leaves the house. Its a short step to taking diet pills.

I dont’ know. Kids should be kids. Let them be dirty and scrubbed and glowing with a healthy bloom in their cheeks. Not covered with lipstick and paint.

Ms G is a fine colleague. She’s pleasant and friendly and sometimes brings lovely cookies that she makes by hand for the rest of us gluttons in the office. However, lately she’s been a bit of a pain ever since she joined some MLM that promotes weight loss products. I saw her talking to Ms. Admin (who btw really needs to lose some weight – I’m surprised the chair can even hold her up!) about it and Ms. Admin had a look on her face that said “Ooh a quick way to lose weight!”

I’m a little plumpy too. SIL tells me that all the time but she’s my SIL and I can bitch to bro about it. But when Ms. G tried it on me, MEOW!!! How can you say I’m fat?!

So no, Ms. G isn’t going to get business from me – no sirreee!! I’m now going to stuff my face with KFC. We get some cute handwash thingy free with a family feast meal and I want it!

By approaching me it seems that I have a problem. I must be fat. I must need this jiggly vibrating device that makes me feel like puking after all my insides are turned into some swirling churning mess.

But fortunately for me, I’m quite immune to these. I’ve found that a brusque no thank you works for me. And fortunately I don’t feel that I need these devices or I’d have a serious complex!

Mom and Dad was away and it was just me and bro and SIL. Bro and SIL sleep like the dead. I’m not kidding! So when the alarm went off, guess who had to get up to turn it off all the while praying it was a false alarm so I don’t get murdered in my nightgown while I padded down stairs!

Next time it happens, I’m getting a hockey stick! So, any cure for dark circles?

Yes its the same one thats been pissing me off in the past few posts too. This time, snide references have been made to things I said but without saying its me. And I thought it was so uncalled for. I can agree to disagree but I draw the line at your making remarks about my comments or perceptions.
