			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I wanted to send a package to a friend for her birthday last week. She is living in Thailand for now, so I wanted to be careful with my packages. I&#8217;d heard of packages going missing and I didn&#8217;t want mine to join the casualty. Here was how I sent my packages overseas and I think it should be applicable for almost any country:-
<ul>
<li>Pack the items in a bubble lined envelope (easily found at any stationery shop) and seal it properly with <a href="http://www.labelvalue.com/postage-meter-tape-c-56.html">postage tape</a></li>
<li>Send it by registered post which requires the recipient to acknowledge receipt</li>
<li>Make sure to fill out the green customs form with the contents and value. Give a low value if you don&#8217;t know how much it is.</li>
<li>Keep hold of your registered post receipt until your recipient confirms receipt.</li>
</ul>
